I have dabbled in yoga for ten years but have been practicing seriously since giving up Roller Derby after 7 years of skating. Once I was able to touch my toes from doing yoga consistently for the first time in my life I became more intrigued. The more I practiced the more I wanted to, and the more I learned the more interested I became. I decided to go through a 200 hour yoga teacher training to deepen my own practice and learn about the non physical aspects of yoga. Learning these philosophies have helped me to be myself, be more spiritually minded and deal with the day to day. I strive to get my students to a peaceful headspace, bring in a little yoga philosophy and have some fun while not taking it all so seriously!
