Introduction to Yoga A class for those new to yoga taught in a four/five
week session. Covering the
basics of hatha yoga. All are welcome!
Basic
Yoga
Basic Yoga releases the body and mind from tension allowing you to regain
balance and energy. Basic Yoga is recommended for everybody.
Duration: 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Basic
Yoga with Silent Meditation
Basic Yoga postures followed by a 15 minute silent meditation. Duration 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Better
Back Yoga
Better Back Yoga uses classic yoga postures to strengthen and maintain the
health of the spine and back muscles. Special attention is provided to
increase flexibility in tight and restricted muscles and joints that
inhibit the use of the spine and back. Duration: 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Ashtanga
Mix Yoga
Ashtanga Mix Yoga is suggested for all students interested in the
more vigorous form of yoga. Ashtanga postures and power breath (Ujjayi)
are introduced.
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is the dynamic and vigorous practice of a prescribed series
of postures. It is hot and healthy. Ashtanga Mix Yoga classes are
recommended prior to taking this class.
Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Anusara
Yoga I & II
Based on Anusara principles, this
graceful, flowing practice blends the spirit and expression of the heart
with the science of biomechanics and alignment. Anusara I = students
will receive instruction in the basic language and principles of the
anusara practice. Anusara II = students will increase their
knowledge of the language and principles of Anusara.
Eichens Yoga named after its founder, Roger Eischens, uses a deep
understanding of alignment and individual differences to bring to light
why postures affect us in different ways. Eichens yoga uses the
knowledge of Ayurveda and the doshas as they are displayed in the
students' yoga practices and into their lives.
Hatha Flow
Weaving basic postures into a flow with detailed
instruction. Options are freely offered. All
levels.
Kundalini
Kundalini is a systematic and graceful way of building up
your energy. Kundalini energy is the flowering of
one's potential, and its awakening is a healthy, a happy,
and sometimes even a holy experience!! Duration 1
hour and 30 minutes.
Moonlight Yoga
Moonlight Yoga is a quiet Basic Yoga practice at the end of the day.
Duration: 1 hour.

postnatal needs of women. Guidance through breathing, physical relaxation
and strengthening are encouraged.

Postnatal Yoga is designed to balance and restore the
physical needs of new mother and baby. Please bring extra
blankets. Duration: 1 hour.
Toddler
and Me
Toddler and Me is for parents and toddlers ages 10 months
to 4 years.
Restorative
Restorative Yoga offers a deeply nourishing environment
of stillness in which to promote the natural process of
healing.
Vinyasa
Vinyasa is a dynamic flow of breath and movement based
on the ideas presented in the Yoga Sutra. All
Levels are welcome.
AM Vinyasa is a traditional early morning practice of Sun
Salutations mixed with a variety of asana to welcome the day!
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a deeply meditative practice
holding postures for an extended period of time. Taught in the style offered
by Sarah Powers.
Yoga at the Wall creates resistance; simultaneously it increases
mechanical leverage to optimize both stretching and strength building.
The wall also gives needed support, taking fear out of the equation or
showing us where fear prevents us from learning. The wall teaches
the basics of aligning the body, which increases our ability to feel and
open.
Yoga for the Emotional Body
This class is designed to soothe the emotions as well
as the body. Using asana, pranayama, chanting, and
meditation students will learn yogic practices to bring
balance to the emotional body.
Yoga Fusion is a synergy of
Pilates and Yoga. Working with the mindfulness of
yoga and developing the power of your core! All
Levels.
YogaShala
YogaShala is a Sanskrit word meaning Yoga School. The
nationally registered school provides training for those
students who wish to deepen their practice and are interested in the Yoga
Teaching Path. The Next training begins Sunday January 4, 2009.
