The format will include small and large group discussion of assigned readings, classroom demonstrations, experiential exercises, completing written assignments, quizzes, and a final written exam.  Students will learn and practice meditation, asana, and  pranayama in every session.  Students are encouraged and supported to continue a daily personal practice and keep a personal journal. The core of this part of the program will be offered on Sunday sessions from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM and five immersion weekends.

Practice and Student Teaching

The student teacher will begin to teach on a limited, supervised basis.  Students will also complete a karma yoga requirement teaching a population who may otherwise not have the opportunity to experience the yoga practice.
