What You Will Experience In This Relaxing Series:
Treat yourself to a deeply nourishing yoga practice that will recharge your mind, body and spirit. Restorative yoga is a gentle and quiet practice that uses props to fully support the body. This support alleviates the physical effects of stress. By activating the parasympathetic nervous system, restorative yoga induces the 'rest and digest' mode of our physiology, giving us a respite from the 'fight or flight' stress response that many of us live much the time.
By calming the central nervous system, our bodies are able to direct healing energies to lowering blood pressure and heart rate, improving digestion, and boosting the immune system. Restorative yoga also eases symptoms of conditions such as anxiety, depression, fatigue, muscle strain and insomnia.
Begins Sunday, March 5. Meets March 5, 12, 19, & 26. Please register by February 26. 6:30pm - 7:45pm. With Sandra Rome, E-RYT. $75 for the four-class series.
