Add Something New

Welcome! We are so glad you’re here. We offer a variety of classes that will help you to add something new to your practice. We recommend the classes listed on this page.

At Namaste, you can practice your breathwork and visualization with meditation, work toward a deep core workout with a fusion of pilates and yoga, or challenge yourself to flow between sun salutations, standing, balancing, and seated postures. Even the most seasoned students can add something new to their practice at Namaste!

  • Complete Hatha links the postures practiced in a regular Hatha class with a focus on alignment in standing, balancing, and seated postures. This practice will focus on proper alignment to avoid injury and to deepen your asana practice and perfect poses.

This all-inclusive yoga practice embraces a variety of hatha yoga styles with all the benefits of the Essential Hatha class, but in a more asana-driven format. Expect the opportunity to learn more advanced poses than you might find in an Essential Hatha class, but also find space to explore your edge to deepen your practice.

This class is recommended for those who have practiced Hatha Yoga and are interested in exploring a more form and alignment-oriented class building strength, endurance, and strong focus. All students are welcome as safe modifications, instructions, and demonstrations are always provided or available.

  • Hatha Flow links the postures practiced in a regular Hatha class into a sequence of movements that “flow” together. With variations of Sun Salutations, balancing postures, standing postures, and seated postures, this practice will challenge you to find progress beyond your physical and mental edge. You can expect the opportunity to learn more advanced poses than you might find in an Essential Hatha class.

This class is suggested for those who have a basic foundation of the practice and are interested in exploring a more movement-oriented class building strength, endurance, and strong focus. All students are welcome as safe modifications, instructions, and demonstrations are always provided or available.

  • You will move slowly and mindfully, fully savoring each posture in this 30-minute class. This class is fully led and includes standing postures that build internal heat, tones muscle, and strengthens your body. You will feel grounded, centered, and ready to start or continue your day.

  • Morning Yoga is a positive way to start your day! Class format will vary and might focus on stretching, energetic movement, flows, or traditional hatha yoga. The overall emphasis is on a practice that allows both new and advanced yogis to get the benefit that most serves you, the student. Offered as 30-minute and 60 minute classes during the week.

  • Yin is a slow, meditative yoga practice that helps you unravel deep-seated tension. In a yin class, you will be asked to hold postures for three to five minutes. You will slowly soften into the poses at a pace that feels good for your body. The perfect compliment to more active practices.

  • You will incorporate foundations of Essential Hatha Yoga through movement and breath while getting a focused core workout. The use of props and adaptations make this class both fun and challenging for those new to their practice and seasoned students alike.

  • This new class is an innovative blend of Hatha Yoga, Somatic Experiencing, Pranayama (breathing techniques), and healing meditations. Somatic Hatha Yoga explores new ways of movement (called “somatic movement flows”) combined with classical hatha yoga postures/asanas.

This class begins very gently, expands to a series of fully guided, mid-tempo flows, with options to modify or intensify throughout to customize one’s personal experience with this clinically endorsed, whole-being, integrative practice.

Together, we will explore the root causes of muscular pain, learn greater nervous system resiliency, and work toward reprogramming old, outdated patterns of managing stress held deep within the body. Through these carefully cultivated, therapeutic, and corrective exercises, students can learn how to take a more active role in their whole-being wellness.
